We’re looking for a Social Media Specialist who can volunteer remotely (from home) for six months:
- This assignment seeks to build capacity for local staff in the knowledge social media framework by providing mentoring and training.
- To be considered for this role, you’ll need qualifications in marketing, communications or related field and experience utilising social media and writing content.
- As a volunteer, you will support the development of the local organisation in Indonesia.
Bali Animal Welfare Association (BAWA) is a non-profit organisation for animal rights based in Bali, Indonesia. Their mission is to assist with animal welfare, help take action and create sustainable change for all animals in Bali. Their vision is for each village in Bali to be its natural sanctuary for animals, where all lives are valued equally and treated with kindness and respect.
Their work and programs aim to tackle animal welfare issues from all sides, directly relieving animal suffering and influencing a positive shift in attitudes and behaviours towards animals to prevent cruelty before it occurs.
